Noctisylum is a music project created by Serbian AI music artist Stefan Vlajić, launched in December 2024 as a space where artificial intelligence and human emotion shape sound together.

The name says everything. Noctisylum is not a person. It is a place, built from silence and darkness, designed for reflection, introspection, and creative freedom. A space that exists beyond the individual. Every track released under this name carries its own world, its own weight, its own reason to exist.

The music of Noctisylum is not the result of a prompt. It begins with emotion: a feeling, a tension, a question that has no easy answer. Artificial intelligence enters the process as a creative partner, not as an author. It generates textures, structures, and sonic possibilities that the human mind alone might never reach. But every decision remains human: tempo, mood, direction, the moment a sound stays or disappears. That is the line Noctisylum never crosses.

In 2025, Noctisylum released The Quiet Divide, recognized as the first AI music album in Serbia. Eleven tracks. One continuous emotional journey through silence, tension, and resolution.

Stefan Vlajić and Noctisylum have been featured in Blic, NIN, Nova Ekonomija, Ekapija, Srbija Danas, BIZlife and Highwaystar Magazine, among other regional media, as a pioneer of AI-assisted music in Serbia and the wider region. The project has also been covered by international media and is broadcast on radio stations worldwide, both online and on traditional FM frequencies.

Every image built around Noctisylum begins with the same tension the music carries: a face split between what is seen and what is buried. One half rendered in deeply realistic digital detail. The other dissolving into smoke, geometry, light that has no clear source.

Like the music, each piece is AI-generated artwork: digital art shaped by human instinct, not by accident. Every visual element chosen for what it carries, not how it looks.

The same question runs through every image as through every track: where does the human end and everything else begin?

The Noctisylum Metaverse is the first AI metaverse in Serbia: a permanent, three-dimensional world where artificial intelligence shaped everything: the music, the visuals, the objects, the atmosphere, every detail of the space itself.

For artists, the doors are open. If you work with artificial intelligence, whether you are based in Serbia or anywhere else in the world, this space was built with you in mind. Exhibiting is free. Every submission goes through a curation process to ensure quality and consistency across the space.
